01 May 2009 - Effective 8 May 2009 all soldiers will be required to use a CAC
card to log on when applying for Federal Tuition Assistance.  This will
require every soldier to get a CAC card prior to attending Initial Entry
Training if applying for Tuition Assistance.  You will have to use a
government computer with a CAC card reader unless you purchase your
own reader.  You will also need to know the PIN number for your CAC ID
card.  If you have forgotten your PIN, you will have to take your CAC card to
an ID card facility to have it reset.  Entering the incorrect PIN three
consecutive times will lock your CAC card, therefore requiring you to take it
to an ID card facility to have it reset.
