Where can I find copies of my Military Records? (IPERMS)
All of your military records are located online for your access. It is our recommendation that at your earliest convenience, at a minimum, you download these files for your records. You should also print these records off so you have a hard copy for your own records. To access your records, you must have a valid Army Knowledge Online (AKO) account. Once you have logged into the AKO website (www.us.army.mil), towards the bottom right of the screen, under “Army Links”, there is a link to “IPerms” or you can go to https: //statepermsompf.hoffman.army.mil/rms/login.jsp.
After clicking on the link you will be asked to log in, using the same username and password as your AKO account. Once you have logged on, it is recommended that you click on the “Download” link located towards the top right of the screen. This will download a copy of all the records to wherever you designate on your computer. After you the download has completed, you will have a copy of every file to save or print as you feel necessary. Other wise you can click on each file individually to download.
